Here's a tasty recipe you might want to try for Easter, from my friend Carole. It may sound like a lot of points, but it's not bad at all once you portion it all out.
4 pounds of GREEN cabbage ... 0 points
6 slices of BOAR HEADS Bacon Yummy. 8 point
3 tablespoons of the fat from bacon 3 point.per tbspn. 9 points
1 Can Tomato w/ tidbits 1 point
1 small can tomato sauce 0 points
I large onion 0 points
1/4 tspn salt,1/4 tspn. pepper 1 tspn. oregano or to taste 0 points

4 shredded cups of Cabbage equal 1 lb. so 4 lbs. of cabbage equals 16 cups of shredded cabbage WHEW!!!!
18 points divided by 16 cups equal 1.125 points
RECIPE
Cut the bacon (boars head )into small pieces and pan fry till almost golden brown,, add sliced large onion and fry low till onions are soft.. you can add salt and pepper to this.
When it is all nice and brown you add the cabbage and mix it into the bacon n onions... add about 1/4 salt(kosher best) and 1/4 pepper and 1 teaspoon of oregano.
mix and add the both tomatoes stir.. lower heat cover and cook for about 1/2 hour or un till tender.. Tastes great the next day too..
